An Efficient and Secure Certificateless Aggregate Signature Scheme for Vehicular Ad hoc Networks

Vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs) have become an essential part of the intelligent transportation system because they provide secure communication among vehicles, enhance vehicle safety, and improve driving experience. However, due to openness vulnerability wireless networks, participating vehicles in a VANET are prone variety cyberattacks. To privacy assure authenticity, integrity, nonrepudiation messages, numerous signature schemes been employed literature on VANETs. The majority these solutions, however, either not fully secured or entail high computational costs. address above issues enable between roadside unit (RSU), we propose certificateless aggregate (CLAS) scheme based hyperelliptic curve cryptography (HECC). This enables share their identities with trusted authorities via open channel without revealing unauthorized participants. Another advantage this approach is its capacity release partial private key devices while keeping identity secret from any other third parties. A provable security analysis through random oracle model (ROM), which relies discrete logarithm problem, performed, proven that proposed unforgeable against Type 1 (FGR1) 2 (FGR2) forgers. compared relevant terms cost overhead, results demonstrate more efficient than existing maintaining high-security levels.
